FIRST Robotics Competition is an international high school competition with many teams from all over the world. Each year teams are given a different game and have to design a robot to meet the criteria of the game. According to the FIRST website, students on other teams call this game, "the hardest fun you’ll ever have.” Students are given strict rules and limited time to design, create, build, fundraise, code, and create a strategy. Whille participating in FIRST, students learn the definition of Gracious Professionalism, learn teamwork, and learn new skills. Teams play the game in two different alliances made up of 3 different teams. In FIRST Robotics, mentors are allowed to touch the robot, help you build the robot, give ideas, and help you execute them!
